MORE ABOUT MARGAUX

Margaux has 4 years of experience in the field of landscape design.  Margaux specializes in landscape design with an emphasis on sustainable practices and maximizing the use of native plants, in order to better preserve the natural features of Northern Michigan.  In addition to comprehensive landscape plans, she will complete zoning and site research for your project, and work with the Designworks design team to provide a thoughtful and detailed site plan that works best with your home design.  Margaux is also able to provide clients with a 3D tour of their landscape project throughout the design process and assist clients in the bidding process when selecting a landscaper.  

 

Margaux earned a degree from Middlebury College with a minor in Environmental Studies and a Masters from the University of Denver.  Margaux also has completed a Landscape Design program through Emory University, is a registered Michigan Natural Shoreline Professional, and has an NDS Professional Drainage certification.  However, she is most proud of her status as a certified Northern Michigan Naturalist through Northern Michigan College.  

 

Outside of her work with landscape design, Margaux spends her time reading, mountain biking, skiing, boating, gardening, and learning as much as she can about the latest sustainable techniques and bioengineering designs for landscaping and gardening.
